Meals are served buffet style and are creative, delicious and plentiful. Dietary restrictions can be addressed with advance notice. Chef Cory has generously compiled a cookbook containing many favorite recipes from over the past 8 years. They will be available for purchase if desired. Registration & Amenities Large, clean, and modern bunk houses with electricity, air conditioning, heat, indoor restrooms and shower facilities will provide your creature comforts. Bunk beds as well as a few free standing cots with mattresses are available, you are welcome to bring your own twin sized air mattress. Tea and hot water will be available in your bunk houses all weekend. We host women’s weekend retreats in the spring and fall at Camp Manitowa-Cedar Point. What to Pack for Your Weekend Getaway… BEDDING: pillow, sleeping bag, twin sheet set, blanket(s), ear plugs and eye masks (if necessary) BATH SUPPLIES: body wash, shampoo/conditioner, deodorant, towel(s) and wash cloth(s), shower shoes, moisturizer, sunscreen, pony tail holders, hair brush, comb, face wash and wipes, toothpaste/brush, dental floss, bug repellant, sunscreen, tampons/pads CLOTHES: Most of us opt for exercise clothes all weekend. With a 20 degree swing from day to night temperatures, bring layers… jackets, sweaters, wraps, close-toed shoes, shorts, shirts, long pants, low and high socks, flip flops, pajamas, cap or hat, rain poncho. ACTIVITY-BASED ITEMS: coffee/tea mug (byo-mug!), flashlight, swimwear and towel for the lake and pool, mountain and/or road bike, bike helmet, biking shoes, gloves, trail and road running shoes, hiking boots and socks, boots and jeans if you plan to hike, bug repellant of your choice, yoga/pilates mat, yoga strap/block/blanket (recommended) Journal/Sketchbook- A special rock to leave in the center of the labyrinth!
